THE IMPACT WE MAKE
Our various projects are scheduled to run for years and aims to support less previledged societies. STSOF has focused for many years on promoting the social, educational, economical and personal development of both genders to attain a gender equal society. The only sure way to achieve our mission is through executing various projects. With the help from various sectors such as individual donors, event sponsors and corperate institutions, major projects have been excuted to support communities especially marginalized women and children.
WOMEN & CHILDREN EMPOWERMENT PROJECT
share the smile ophelia foundation undertakes several project gear to promote women’s and children’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others. It is closely aligned with female empowerment – a fundamental human right that’s also key to achieving a more peaceful, prosperous world. But despite a great deal of progress, women and girls continue to face discrimination and violence in every part of the world.
We run seminars on empowerment in the area of career, donations Games and among others to promote full and equal access to social services, economic opportunities and decent work, for all women, especially marginalized women and children, help them to achieve their basic needs and ensure their participation in the elaborating and implementation of policies that effect their development, with full respect for their cultures, traditions and social norms.
EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
share the smile ophelia foundation as a matter of policy has implemented project to promote every child’s right to a quality, safe, inclusive and transformational education that empower children for life. Our work enables families, communities and schools to provide nurturing care with playful and effective pedagogy. We are making progress. But there’s more to be done. All girl-child have the right to a safe, inclusive and quality education. We want all children to be educated for life, in a safe and nurturing environment, in order to lead productive and fulfilling lives.
HEALTH PROJECT
We envision a world where all women and children are healthy and well-nourished. Good health and nutrition empower women, children, families and communities, enabling them to thrive. share the smile ophelia foundation is focused in designing project aim to provide healthcare to the marginalized women and children to bridge the gap to attain a gender equal society.
ECONOMIC DEVELPMENT PROJECT
Around the african continent, the impact of extreme poverty on women and children’s development is devastating. women poverty has long-term implications for their overall well-being. These include poor psychosocial and physical health, malnutrition, lack of education, social exclusion, and limited future employment opportunities. women may be exposed to more violence, such as domestic voilence, marital crisies, broken homes as families and caregivers face economic difficulties. This is due to increased stress and pressure to make ends meet. share the smile ophelia foundataion has put smile on most women by empowering them in the area of financial assistance through the economic developent project.
